WORST OF THE WORST WEBSITES - december 2011

Searching the internet for bad websites can be pretty entertaining and enlightning. My hope is that no sites of ours shall ever make these lists. Some lists such as PC's World 25 Worst Web Sites contain big companies that changed or reorganized their site without thinking every step thru or thinking about the user. Their choice for number 1 might be surprising to you. Then there are lists which take us to the downright hideous and laughable. Such is the list of Vincent Flanders' Web Pages That Suck. These sites leave you with the question: What were they thinking? Then my personal favorite is a site devoted to showing you the worst things you can do on a website by combining them on an active site. Such is the site: The World's Worst Website.

 

A VETERAN'S DAY TRIBUTE TO MY GRANDFATHER - november 2011

Last Father's day, I made a video for my father. I thought it would be nice to post it here for Veteran's Day. I created the open in After Effects. Most of the pictures and editing were assembled in iMovie. It took about 3 months to complete. First I had to organize the pictures into different categories. I came up with 4 basic categories: Training in Virginia and Alabama, North Africa, Italy-South, and Italy-North. Then I did some research using his discharge papers as a compass. Reading about his unit and where they were gave me a new understanding of what he did in World War 2. Please enjoy:
